Final Assessment

This year in PE I had lots of fun doing different activities with my classmates. I would have to say this is the best year of PE I've ever had. I played a lot of different games that I hadn't before. My attendance this year was okay, I say that because I was away a for a few days due to a vacation but other than that I have never been away unless it was completely necessary. I haven't been late this year and I always come equipped with my strip. Through this year my fitness has improved. My beep test score is much higher than it was in the beginning of the year and I am very proud of that. In class I have always tried my best to participate. I constantly to reminded myself to cheer on my teammates when paying sports like volleyball. I've helped with equipment whenever the opportunity was there. Outside of PE this year I joined swimming for a few months, I also bought a basketball net and me and my brother have been practicing a lot so I can join a team next year. In the future I plan to join a gym (currently looking for one), I also think I am going to start swimming again as well as improving my diet I have made some changes this year but I am going to make some more! I know I will be successful in this because my brother wants to eat healthy because he plays hockey and this way I can have a buddy to encourage me. This year I have tried a lot more than I ever have, with the encouragement of my friends Manvir and Ramneet. I think I deserve a B or an A. Thank you for this year of PE!

Fitness: April 12, 2013

Today we had a very different fitness than normal and honestly I had the most fun today than any other fitness day. First we did the Swedish Mile which my team had a bit of difficulty doing because everyone was going at there own pace rather than a pace all of us could go on. This resulted in some of my team mates getting tired and starting to walk while others stil jogging ahead alone. It was frustrating to me that we had a new member join our team in the second round because she obviously wasn't tired but it seemed to upset her that we were, also she ran without her team and finished alone which I don't feel was the objective of this activity but still our team was proud to finish when we did.  Secondly we ran around the field with a weight. This was difficult but still amusing to me because our team came together and tried very hard to go ahead of the team infront of us which we successfully did and I feel that changed the atmosphere of our team and had us very excited for the last round. In the last round we flipped the tire. I've never ever done anything like that in my life but it was a great time. Our team strategized prior to our turn which really helped us. Once we finished we were all muddy but it was clear we were all proud of ourselves and had a blast doing it.

Report Card Term 1

So far in this semester I have always came prepared for physical education with my pe strip. I am very supportive of my classmates and try my best to cheer them on. I've had quite a few absences in this semester due to illness's and my extended vacation, but I am determined to start fresh in this new term and have none to very few absences. I do my best to help with the equipment on a regular basis. During fitness days I sometimes lack enthusiasm and consistency when it comes to fitness days but I try to surround myself with people who can push me to do my best like Manu Kooner, who makes sure I don't quit. Currently, outside of school I am doing the Insanity challenge with my cousins who push me to do my best and not quit. I am currently trying to change my eating habits and my mom is very supportive by buying me the foods I should be eating. At the moment I am trying to decide what gym to get a membership at, as I will be going to the gym to work out daily. My blog currently lacks much effort because I continuously forget my password and username, but I have now written it down and shall blog once every week (that is my goal) :)

Interim Report

In this semester of physical education I was always prepared with my change of clothes; if I was at school I would always come to class on time but I have had a few absences due to illnesses. I participate in class games and activities to the best of my ability. Compared to last year I feel I have been improving a whole lot. During fitness days I sometimes lack enthusiasm, but I try to surround myself with friends who will push me harder rather than those who will quit with me, as I have in the past before. I know I could try harder in fitness I tend to find myself quitting when I feel discomfort, but still I have days when I give 100% or close to it. In class I make sure to help with equipment and cheer on my classmates as I feel it can really helps out. I try and come to class everyday with a positive attitude. At home I try and doing different things to get in daily physical activity, earlier in the year I used to go on the treadmill for one hour but now I try to improve my basketball skills with my brother, in hopes to join a team next year. For dietary health, I have stopped eating frozen pizza's and have been trying to eat a lots of fruits and drink lots of water. I think this class is an pretty good class, if I had to change a few things it would be to allow us to drink water during fitness but I understand people take advantage of that and to maybe give alternatives to some games we play. My goal for this years physical education is to improve my physical health overall in every way possible, I can see some changes already and am excited to see more that will come. Overall I see myself trying hard, participating in class and always coming prepared. I think I deserve a G for what I have been doing in class this year.

First Day of PE 10

I am really looking forward to blogging for PE this year. It will be a whole new experience for me and I am very excited. My goals for this year include bringing a strip to class, improving in my fitness and make a lot of new friends.
